1. What we do

MateAI designs and builds websites for businesses. The plan you choose defines the size and features of the site: pages, design, forms, integrations, and SEO work. The exact scope is agreed with you in your project portal before we build.

2. How the work is paid

The website build is a one-time payment. You pay after you have seen and approved the finished site — no card or deposit is required to begin. The monthly care plan is a separate, optional subscription that renews until you cancel it. Refunds and cancellation are covered by our Cancellation & Refund Policy.

Paddle acts as merchant of record and handles payment methods, taxes, invoices, and receipts.

3. What we need from you

Timelines depend on you giving us accurate business information and the materials the project needs: texts, logo, photos, contact details, and access to your domain when applicable. You confirm you have the right to use every asset you send us.

4. What the care plan covers

The care plan covers hosting, domain, SSL, backups, monitoring, the storage and database behind your forms, and the monthly allowance of changes stated in your plan. Work beyond that allowance, additional storage, and business mailboxes are quoted and billed separately, and we always tell you the price before charging.

5. Ownership

Once the build is paid, the website we deliver — its content, design, and pages — is yours. Each party keeps ownership of the materials it already had, and reusable components, templates, and internal tooling remain MateAI property.

6. Acceptable use

Your website may not be used for unlawful, deceptive, abusive, or high-risk activity, and you are responsible for the accuracy of the prices, services, hours, and claims published on it. We may suspend work or hosting that creates legal, security, or platform risk.

7. Suspension and termination

Care plan service may be suspended for nonpayment, misuse, or material breach. If the care plan ends, your site remains yours and we will help you move it to hosting you control. Termination effects follow the Cancellation & Refund Policy.

8. Third-party services

Your website may rely on third-party services such as domain registrars, analytics, and payment providers. Those services are governed by their own terms, and outages caused by them are outside our control, though we will work with you to resolve them.

9. Liability

We do our work with reasonable care and skill. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to a project is limited to the amount you paid us for that project. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss such as lost profits.

10. Changes and contact
