Terms of Service

1. Service

MateAI provides configurable AI receptionist software, implementation, and related services for business websites. The exact scope is defined in the applicable order or statement of work.

2. Subscription and billing

Recurring plans renew on the billing cycle shown at checkout until canceled. Paddle acts as merchant of record and processes supported payment methods, taxes, invoices, and payment details.

3. Implementation

Setup charges cover configuration and implementation work. Timing depends on the customer providing accurate business information and reasonable access to required systems.

4. Acceptable use

Customers must not use the service for unlawful, deceptive, abusive, discriminatory, or high-risk activity. MateAI may suspend use that creates security, legal, or platform risk.

5. Customer responsibilities

Customers are responsible for the accuracy of services, prices, hours, policies, escalation instructions, notices, and other business information supplied to the AI.

6. AI limitations

AI-generated responses may be incomplete or incorrect. Customers must define appropriate human handoff and may not rely on MateAI for emergency, medical, legal, or other regulated professional decisions.

7. Intellectual property

Each party retains ownership of its pre-existing materials. Product software, systems, and reusable implementation assets remain MateAI property unless an agreement states otherwise.

8. Suspension and termination

Service may be suspended for nonpayment, security risk, misuse, or material breach. Cancellation and termination effects follow the applicable order and Cancellation Policy.

9. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, liability limitations and warranty disclaimers will be specified in the final professionally reviewed agreement.
